Data Privacy Policy – Valeno
Data Privacy Policy – Valeno
Effective: 2026-10-12
Valeno is a casual fruit merge game designed for short, single-player sessions. This Data Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the app, how that information is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you. Valeno is designed to function without an account, cloud synchronization, online multiplayer, or social sharing features.
We share certain technical and usage information with our advertising and analytics partners, Adjust (https://www.adjust.com/privacy-policy/)). This information may include device identifiers, including the advertising identifier or IDFA, device attributes, IP address, and app usage events. These partners process this information under their own privacy policies and act as independent controllers for attribution and advertising purposes.
User-uploaded content and user-generated content are not shared with Adjust. Valeno does not sell personal information or other user data.
Crash logs and diagnostic information may be retained for up to 12 months. Support messages may be retained for up to 6 months so that we can respond to requests and maintain appropriate records.
Advertising and attribution information shared with Adjust is retained by that partner according to their respective privacy policies, retention practices, and legal obligations.
Valeno does not use facial recognition, perform biometric analysis, or create or store face templates. The app does not collect facial or other biometric information. If any visual information were temporarily processed for an app feature, it would be deleted after processing; Valeno does not retain such information for identification or authentication.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. These safeguards may include access controls, limited data permissions, secure transmission where supported, and retention limits. No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of personal information associated with your use of Valeno. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent and request information about how your data is used. To make a request, use the contact method listed below.
Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing, including profiling. You may withdraw consent at any time, and you may lodge a complaint with a relevant supervisory authority.
For California residents, the CCPA and CPRA may provide the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Valeno does not sell personal information. You may exercise the applicable opt-out choice through the App Tracking Transparency setting or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any applicable privacy right.
Your information may be processed, stored, or accessed in countries or regions different from where you live. Our service providers and advertising and analytics partners may operate internationally. When information is transferred across borders, processing may be subject to the laws of the destination jurisdiction and applicable safeguards required by law.
Valeno integrates third-party advertising and attribution software development kits, including Adjust. These technologies help measure advertising attribution and support advertising activities.
On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency system prompt appears when an app requests permission to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you select “Allow,” Valeno may use the advertising identifier, including the IDFA, for ad attribution and personalized advertising. If you select “Ask App Not to Track,” Valeno does not access the advertising identifier for tracking, and advertisements may be less personalized. The app remains fully usable regardless of your choice.
You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Other device and platform settings may also affect advertising or analytics technologies.
Information may be used to operate, maintain, secure, and improve Valeno; provide gameplay features; save local game progress and statistics; troubleshoot technical problems; understand aggregate app performance; and conduct analytics.
Through the partners identified in the Data Sharing section, information may also be used for advertising attribution and for measuring campaign performance. Where permitted and subject to your device permissions, it may support advertising that is more relevant to your activity. Valeno does not sell personal information.
We may revise this policy when the app, our practices, applicable law, or service providers change. The updated version will be made available with a revised effective date. Your continued use of Valeno after an update means you have reviewed the revised policy, except that tracking permission is handled separately through Apple's App Tracking Transparency controls.
Depending on how you use the app and interact with us, Valeno may collect information that you provide directly, such as support messages, feedback, or other information included in a request. The app does not require you to create an account.
We may automatically collect technical and activity information, including crash logs, diagnostic data, device identifiers such as the advertising identifier or IDFA, device attributes, IP address, coarse location inferred from IP address, and app events and usage data. App events may include information about launches, screens, gameplay actions, purchases or in-app usage events, and feature interactions.
Valeno or its service providers may use cookies, similar technologies, SDKs, or device storage mechanisms where applicable to operate services, measure performance, support attribution, and provide advertising functionality. Information stored locally by the app may include game progress, scores, settings, achievements, and purchase-related records needed for app features.
By using Valeno, you acknowledge and agree to this Data Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law. However, continued use of the app does not by itself constitute consent to tracking. Tracking consent is granted or refused separately through the App Tracking Transparency system prompt, and you may withdraw that permission at any time without losing any app functionality.
